Eye Creams

I use eye creams on a regular basis and I think it is important to start preventing any skin problems around the eyes area at a younger age. I pretty much started to use eye creams a few years after I started to use skincare products regularly (as I recall =P).
To me, moisture is the key thing I look for in an eye cream since I don't want to put too heavy products around my eyes yet.

Here are some eye creams that I have used up recently, using currently, and want to try in the future.

Used up: It's skin --- Moisture System Eye Cream
You may not be familiar with this brand "It's skin" because it is a Korean brand and my parents got this for me while they were at Korea last Summer. This is a HUGE tube for an eye cream and it seriously lasted me for soooooooooooo long!!!!!!
It is actually more of a gel texture rather than a cream and overall I think it is pretty hydrating. It doesn't have any overpowering scent (which is good) and I also like how it is in a tube. =)
I don't know if I am in love with it, it is a decent product but I find myself liking slightly more than a gel when it comes to eye creams. This It's skin eye cream is more than other eye gels I have tried but not to the extent that I would like it to be. However, that being said, I think this product is great for Summer because I don't know if I can actually put a cream under my eyes in such a hot & humid weather (especially when I travel back to HK)...=S

Currently using: Olay cucumber eye gel
As I just said, I don't like anything too thick when it comes to Summer and this Olay eye gel is definitely light. I used to enjoy it more but as I get older now, I think I prefer something thicker than this gel.
It is very affordable, especially if I get this from HK (which I did). But I probably would not repurchase this in a short while because I really want to try something new.
The Olay eye gel is certainly a basic eye cream/gel and I  would recommend it to anyone younger and want to start using eye products.

What I want to try: Origins GinZing & Eye Doctor

I have heard many good reviews on these products, especially the GinZing eye cream. But of course when it comes to skincares, you really have to try it yourself to test things out.
I actually want to try GinZing for my Mum as well because she told me that she has problems with puffy eyes and I think the caffeine content in GinZing may help.

A few beauty used-ups

These are some products I have used up a while ago and I thought I would share some of my thoughts on them. I apologize for the poor picture qualities, I was just using my cell phone.

Lush Dream Cream
My very first post on this blog was about my 1st Lush purchase and that was when I got the Dream Cream. I wasn't too into the scent at first but starting to like it more with regular uses. It is moisturizing but didn't do anything for my eczema like everyone said it will.
Is this the best body moisturizer I have ever use? Probably not... I have found a much cheaper drugstore moisturizer that gives me amazing hydration and I will honestly have to say I like that one better in terms of what it does to my skin.
Lush Dream Cream is definitely more luxurious (for the price of around $25 CAD), and will I repurchase? Ummm, maybe~ I do like it, but the price point puts me off...

Biore pore unclogging scrub

I bought this because I saw hollyannaeree used this product in her skincare routine. It contains 2% salicylic acid and it's for blemish prone skin.
To me, it feels more like a cleanser with beads than a scrub. Plus, I think those beads are a little bit too big to clean your pores. I would rather it doesn't have those exfoliating beads.
I don't know if it has improved my skin condition. I am still breaking out (not that I expect it to cure my acnes). I have to say though it is pretty gentle. I didn't realize this until recently because I am using the Neutrogena acne wash, which also has 2% salicylic acid but the Neutrogena one sometimes makes my face feel like burning....=(

St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Yes, another scrub. =) Because I don't actually use this on my face. I use it as a body scrub. I learnt this from my fellow housemate and this scrub is so affordable that I can apply plenty on my body. It works pretty well as a body scrub. My skin does feel softer after using it, but the result is probably not too long-lasting.

Have you tried these products? Do you like them? =)

Just some rambling~

It is freezing cold in the library...!!! The AC is way too strong!!! And yes, I'm stuck in the library studying for my final exam tomorrow while the weather outside is just beautiful~~~~~~

Took a study break outdoor~ =)

I want to blog for so many things but I just couldn't find anytime at all to squeeze in blogging... first of all, I got my June Loose Button Luxe Box last Friday and I was so happy!!! Mainly because it includes a FULL SIZE LAURA MERCIER EYESHADOW!!!!!!!=D Isn't that the coolest thing ever?? The eye shadow alone retails for $22..~!!!! It totally made my day~~~~~

Second of all, I've used up some products recently and really want to do some mini reviews on them! Well, and not to mention, some hauls..??! =P

Anyways, nothing is gonna happen until my exams and assignments are done.....><

Or, maybe I can squeeze in another study break?? =P
